Correction and Retraction

Life Course Psychology (LCP) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record. Corrections may be published when an error in a published article affects the accuracy or clarity of the article but does not invalidate its main findings or conclusions. Corrections may include errors in text, figures, tables, references, author information, or other published information.

A published article may be retracted when there is clear evidence that its findings or conclusions are unreliable due to serious error, fabrication or falsification of data, plagiarism, duplicate publication, unethical research, major undisclosed conflicts of interest, or other forms of publication misconduct. Retraction is intended to correct the scholarly record and inform readers that the findings of the article should no longer be considered reliable.

Requests or notifications concerning possible errors, corrections, or retractions may be submitted to the editorial office by authors, readers, reviewers, editors, institutions, or other relevant parties. The editorial team will assess the concern based on the available evidence and, where necessary, seek clarification from the authors, reviewers, editorial board, publisher, or relevant institution before making a decision.

When a correction or retraction is issued, the notice will clearly identify the affected article and provide an explanation of the correction or reason for retraction. Retraction notices will remain linked to the original article so that readers and indexing services can clearly identify the publication's current status.

For concerns regarding corrections or retractions, please contact the LCP Editorial Office at lifecoursepsychology@gmail.com.
