Crossmark Policy

Life Course Psychology (LCP) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of its published scholarly record. The journal uses Crossmark to provide readers with a reliable way to check whether an article has been updated, corrected, retracted, or otherwise changed after its initial publication.

The Crossmark status is displayed on eligible published articles and provides readers with access to the current publication status and relevant editorial updates. When a published article requires a correction, retraction, or other substantive post-publication update, the journal will provide an appropriate notice and maintain a clear connection between the original article and the related update.

Minor typographical or formatting changes that do not affect the scholarly content may be corrected without issuing a formal post-publication notice. Substantive changes that may affect the interpretation, reliability, or integrity of the published record will be handled through the journal's Correction and Retraction Policy.

The journal is committed to maintaining a transparent and permanent scholarly record. Published articles will not normally be removed from the journal website. When retraction is necessary, the original article will remain accessible with a clear retraction notice indicating its status and the reason for retraction.

Readers, authors, reviewers, and other members of the scholarly community who identify a possible error or issue affecting a published article are encouraged to contact the editorial office. All concerns will be assessed by the editorial team based on available evidence and in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies.

For questions or concerns regarding the status of a published article, please contact the LCP Editorial Office at lifecoursepsychology@gmail.com.
