Life Course Psychology (LCP) is supported by the publisher, Scidac Plus. The journal does not charge authors any Article Processing Charge (APC), submission fee, peer-review fee, or publication fee.

Financial and administrative support is used to facilitate the journal's editorial administration, peer-review management, manuscript production, copyediting, DOI and metadata registration, website operation, digital preservation, and open-access publication.

The journal does not accept payments in exchange for manuscript acceptance, favourable peer-review reports, accelerated editorial decisions, citations, editorial board membership, or preferential treatment during publication.

Financial considerations are kept separate from editorial decision-making. Individuals responsible for financial or administrative matters may not interfere with reviewer selection, peer-review reports, editorial recommendations, acceptance decisions, corrections, retractions, or other matters concerning the academic integrity of the journal.

All editorial decisions are based on academic merit, originality, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal's Focus and Scope, compliance with publication ethics, and the outcome of the peer-review process.

Any material change to the journal's funding sources or publishing model will be disclosed publicly by LCP.
