This study aims to determine efforts to increase student creativity in traditional dance learning through the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. The problem focused on is increasing student creativity in expressing traditional dance movements through the application of the PJBL method. This study uses Arikunto Suharsimi's theory of Classroom Action Research (CAR), in which actions are taken to overcome problems in traditional dance learning. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles, in which data is collected through observation and evaluation of dance movements. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively to measure the changes that occurred in students. The results showed that in the first cycle, the average creativity of students was recorded at 55%, and in the second cycle, there was an increase of 25% to 80%. This increase shows that the PJBL method is effective in enhancing students' creativity in traditional dance learning. The success of this study is marked by an increase in student learning activities, the achievement of a minimum mastery criterion (KKM) of 80%, and an increase in students' ability to improvise and collaborate in creating traditional dance movements.
