Abstract

ABSTRACT:
This research has a religious background, women's reciting at the mosque is a form of religious activity that can contribute to community empowerment. However, there are still many mothers' recitations that are not optimal in empowering the community. The aim of the research is to understand the concept of community empowerment implemented by the Tanjung Batu Al-Falah Mosque and provide explanations and information on what programs are involved in mosque-based empowerment and the implementation of these programs. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, using a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques in this research used data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that mosque-based community empowerment for mothers' recitation of the Koran at the al-Falah mosque in Tanjung Batu village has made a significant contribution to increasing the abilities and welfare of mothers. The recitations held at the mosque have helped mothers increase their religious knowledge and social awareness. Mosque-based community empowerment has an important role in increasing mothers' participation in social and community activities, as well as increasing mothers' awareness of their faith. Apart from that, mosque-based community empowerment has also helped improve community welfare through increasing the capabilities and welfare of mothers.
