Abstract

This study is based on the fact that it is very difficult to have a dual role in a household, let alone
form a parenting pattern for children, one must study a lot and have patience. This study discusses
the Influence of Husband's Dual Role on Childcare Patterns (Study on Husbands After Their Wives
Become Migrant Workers in Sukajadi Village, Sungai Rotan District). The purpose of the study
was to determine the Influence of Husband's Dual Role on Childcare Patterns After Their Wives
Become Migrant Workers. The approach used in the study was quantitative. Data collection
techniques through observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques
include validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, hypothesis tests. The results of the study
showed a calculated F value of 13.234 > 2.69 Ftable significant value 0.002 < 0.05, so there is a
simultaneous influence between the variable Husband's Dual Role on Childcare Patterns with the
decision of the hypothesis (Ha) accepted. The conclusion is that there is a positive and significant
influence between the Dual Role of Husbands on Parenting Patterns After the Wife Becomes a
Migrant Worker in Sukajadi Village, Sungai Rotan District, with a value of 63.1% while the rest is
influenced by other variables that were not examined in this study such as responsibility for fathers
who have dual roles.
