Pemberdayaan Santri Melalui Pengembangan Nasyid di Pondok Pesantren Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga
Abstract
This study is entitled Empowerment of Santri Through Nasyid Development at Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga Islamic Boarding School. Empowerment of santri is part of a community-based development strategy. Empowerment of santri is an effort to increase the capacity, potential, and independence of santri so that they are able to play an active role in various aspects of life, both in the pesantren environment and in the community. This process includes spiritual guidance, intellectual development, skills training, and instilling social values and independence. Through empowerment, santri are not only equipped with religious knowledge, but are also trained to become creative, productive individuals who are ready to face the challenges of the times. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of empowering santri that had been carried out by the nasyid group instructor at the Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga Islamic Boarding School, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors that occurred during the empowerment process. The researcher used a qualitative approach through direct observation in the field. Through observation, interview, and documentation methods, the researcher collected information from the nasyid group instructor and santri. The results of this study indicate that nasyid instructors have carried out several programs and activities to empower students through nasyid development, including basic education and provision, training and skills development, strengthening the character and skills of students. The supporting factors are full support from the pesantren management, coaching and training, and adequate facilities. As for the inhibiting factors, namely limited time, lack of interest in students, and lack of understanding.
