This thesis is entitled "Implementation of Islamic Boarding School Management in Improving Student Discipline at the Nurul Qomar Modern Integrated Islamic Boarding School in Palembang" The purpose of this study is to determine the management of Islamic boarding schools in improving student discipline at the Nurul Qomar Islamic boarding school in Palembang and to determine the inhibiting factors in improving student discipline at the Nurul Qomar Islamic boarding school in Palembang. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. There are two sources of data used, namely primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Miles and Huberman data analysis techniques with three stages, namely Data reduction, Data display, Conclusion drawing / verification. Furthermore, using George R. Terry's management theory and Soegeng Prijodarminto's discipline theory. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Islamic boarding school management in improving the discipline of students at the Nurul Qomar Palembang Modern Integrated Islamic Boarding School is in line with the management theory which has four components, namely first planning, the boarding school administrators make regulations to discipline students, organizing, in this case the boarding school forms a student management organization called oppm for boys and opippri for girls, actuating, in this case the boarding school provides a guidebook regarding the rules of the boarding school, controlling, the boarding school administrators provide guidance to students who violate the rules in the boarding school and the values of obedience, compliance, loyalty, regularity or order. The factors that hinder the discipline of students are different backgrounds, families, characters, economy, and human resources and the lack of cooperation between guardians and boarding school administrators which makes it difficult to discipline students.
