Strategi Pemberdayaan Melalui Program Palembang Makmur Untuk Kesejahteraan Umat di BAZNAS Kota Palembang

Abstract

The research is entitled Empowerment Strategy Through the Palembang Makmur Program for the Welfare of the People at BAZNAS Palembang City. The purpose of the research is to find out the strategy of empowering the welfare of the people carried out by BAZNAS Palembang city, to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Palembang prosperous program in BAZNAS Palembang city. The research methodology uses the type of field research and qualitative approach. The research methodology uses the type of field research and qualitative approach. The type of data is qualitative data as well as primary and secondary data sources. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews and documentation. Technical data analysis by means of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The theory used, namely Geoff Mulgan, consists of 5 stages: goals, environment, direction, learning, and action. The results of the research are: first, the empowerment strategy through the Palembang prosperous program for the welfare of the people in BAZNAS Palembang city: determining the goals of seeing problems in the community, selecting a strategic environment according to the needs of the program being run, providing direction to make it easier for the community to understand the program being run, providing learning to develop community skills (skillful), providing actions to open opportunities for the community to start/develop their businesses according to the field/interest of the community. Second, the supporting and inhibiting factors of the empowerment strategy in the Palembang prosperous program for the welfare of the people in BAZNAS Palembang city: supporting factors are the enthusiasm of mustahik and supporting the activities of the Palembang prosperous program, the support from government officials, the existence of good coordination between the Baznas of Palembang city and the community receiving the Palembang makmur program, the inhibiting factor because the community is still not supportive.
